It is built on a moveable dolly and requires around 1-2 hours to build depending on location and length. It normally requires a 2 man crew to build but can be set-up and operated by a single operator under

If you need a 20ft jib that only takes 10 mins to build and seconds to re-locate, then this is the jib for you. The Polecam system uses the latest carbon fiber materials and camera technology to make this the longest and lightest portable jib ever.

Need to move location? No problem. At a max weight of 50lbs the whole jib can be picked up or dollyed to the next spot ready to shoot. There is no need for support wires or struts and no tools required, making it quick and easy to change lengths between 4ft and 20ft. It mounts onto a standard tripod or can be attached to a body mounted harness and used wireless.

Thanks to the use of HD broadcast quality miniature 3-chip cameras, the Polecam can be used on any TV shoot where time, stealth or multi-location are of importance. The camera has full remote menu, tally and iris control for use in multi-camera and studio environments.

New from Convergent Design, the Nano 3D and Flash XDR recorders can record and playback your HiDef 3D or 2D video footage at bit rates up to 280mps and in a variety of formats including Quicktime and MXF onto high capacity compact flash cards.

Footage can be immediately downloaded and edited using Avid, Final Cut or other edit systems.
